Carrying a camera and lens around your neck for hours on end during a shoot can lead to serious discomfort and lens accidents. Typically, the weight of DSLR cameras and their large lenses are supported solely by the strap on the camera body. The lenses dangle awkwardly, requiring the use of your hands to protect your investment.
The Lens Cradle removes this awkwardness. Utilizing the center point of gravity of the lens tripod collar, the Lens Cradle supports the camera and lens in a secure horizontal position.
The patented Lens Cradle has two main components: the Neo Duet Camera Strap and the Cradle Mount. The strap has thick neoprene, lycra for stretch, and non-slip shark tooth webbing for comfort on your neck and shoulders. The Cradle Mount features an arc-like dual mounting platform that can be used with any camera and lens with a tripod collar. The Lens Cradle’s various mounting options provide the photographer with a number of different benefits. When the arc is turned up, cradling the camera lens, the Neo Duet Camera Strap holds the lens up and keeps it horizontal, which in turn lightens the weight around the neck. When you invert the arc so it is turned down, the Cradle Mount becomes an instant bipod, converting previous obstacles into stable platforms. When the camera is not being held, the Lens Cradle keeps the lens elevated so it does not touch the ground. This protects the lens from grit, moisture and scratches, and reduces camera or lens repair.
A camera strap alone cannot provide this balance, stability, and usefulness.

Made in the USA from U.S. and imported parts.
The Lens Cradle is made of durable, yet lightweight, autograde ABS capable of supporting any SLR camera and lens combination, and has the following design features:
Unencumbered camera use
With the LensCradle, you no longer need to support the weight of a large lens with your hands. The Lens Cradle uses the centerpoint of a camera and lens to achieve proper balance and stability, and added control. This greatly reduces the strain and pain on your arm, shoulder and hand.Using the Neo Duet Camera Strap with its neoprene boomerang neckpiece in conjunction with the Lens Cradle provides comfortable shock absorption. The Lens Cradle and straps are positioned to keep all functions of the camera and lens easily accessible and ready for the next elusive shot.Camera protection
Made of a durable, polycarbonate and auto grade ABS blend, the Lens Cradle can support the heaviest of lenses, yet it remains lightweight and easy to use. When you set down your camera and lens, the Lens Cradle reduces the risk of damage and contamination by keeping the end of the lens, filter, and hood off of the contact surface. Without our LensCradle, the weight of the lens is supported solely by the camera to lens junction. Over time, this stress can damage the camera, deteriorating the lens to body mounting contacts. The LensCradle provides the support needed to reduce, if not eliminate, this risk. And the LensCradle minimizes the risk of dropping or misplacing your lenses while detaching and changing them. A second Lens Cradle allows you to safely carry or mount an alternate lens. It can be kept securely around your neck attached to the strap. With the Lens Cradle you reduce camera and lens repair.Simple, universal mount
The Lens Cradle fits any lens with a tripod collar. It is as quick and simple to mount as a tripod. After years of wrestling with camera gear, photographer Mike Dowell had enough of struggling to protect and carry his equipment.
